In TRPGA we’re considering a fantasy futuristic role playing experience so we can’t use the staple wizard, warrior rogue, instead we require an equivalent.

The jobs under scrutiny at the moment are

scout -> starts the deception, psychic tree

trooper -> starts the attack force, soldier tree

field support -> starts the engineer, medic tree

The skill grid system described earlier (from now on i’ll refer to it as the grid) can take in skills from all classes, thats great but leaves us with only generic classes with skills that can be used by all.

This is our solution, every class has some skills which are sharable and some which are class specific. The classes at the root are way more general than the end-game classes. This makes for interesting class decisions to be made.
